The word “journey” conjures up quests, explorations, destinations: travelling with an aim, a purpose. 

 

Have you ever taken a journey to a sacred place? What is a sacred place for you? Perhaps somewhere in Nature? What impression do we get from Chartres Cathedral, the Sphinx, Stonehenge or Angkor Wat. What makes them sacred? Is it the skill of the architects and builders, the location itself or what has taken place there over millennia?

 

In a sense, we are all travellers, travellers in life, with stories to tell.
